Delete your Sky Time account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from the app or the website.

In the app

Open your account in the Sky Time app, choose Delete account, and confirm with your email address. The account is deleted straight away and the app signs you out.

On the website

Sign in, open Account, choose Delete account, and confirm with your email address and the word DELETE.

Can't sign in?

Ask us through the contact form from the email address on the account, and we will delete it for you.

What is deleted

Your account and everything that belongs to it: your email address, name and password, your saved places and home place, your settings, reminders, ratings, votes and favorites, and every sign-in on every device.

What stays

Places you added to the map stay for everyone else, with no link back to you - other people's forecasts and ratings depend on them. Sky photographs taken by the webcams are not yours and are not removed. Nothing that stays says who you are.

How long it takes

Deletion is immediate. Copies in our private backups are replaced as the backups roll over and are gone within 90 days. More is in our privacy policy.
